My unofficial first day, I knew Kimpton was for me! I was at the Housekeeping Olympics and the energy, the language, the attitude, was ALL ME! Could it be, could I have found the company that fit my performance background, fit my personality and dare I think it, allowed me to be me!

Over the next three years with Kimpton, I received a promotion, invited to be part of a new hotel opening, spotlighted as one of the leaders of the facilities team. But most importantly, I was trained, encouraged and expected to succeed, just by being me!

They don’t just include DIVERSITY in the employee handbook, it is the very fiber of what Kimpton stands for.

One of my favorite things is it’s like one big happy family here. Sure there are days that maybe it doesn’t go as smoothly as you would like, but we are all here to work through those days and make tomorrow better. Better for our Guests, better for us, and better for Kimpton. We also look beyond our walls to contribute through charities and environmental programs to better our community and our planet.

Kimpton is truly a place where you, as an employee, can make a difference and have fun. I have had more laughs with, and hugs from guests and staff than I can begin to count.
